Technological Milestone

With the acquisition of a state-of-the-art punching and CO₂ laser machine, the sheet metal processing center experienced a technological quantum leap. This enables even more precise, efficient, and customized solutions for customers worldwide and underscores the company’s continuous commitment to innovation, quality, and reliability

Foundation and Specialization

A structural realignment, the logistical optimization of production, and the revision of acquisition and sales processes strengthened the company’s competitiveness and its international orientation.

2005

Innovation and New Products

Ehrenfels significantly increased its revenue and developed new products for different customer groups, such as parking lot restroom solutions, thereby optimally adapting to market needs.

2000

New Production Facility and Modernization of Corporate Structures

In 2000, Ehrenfels established a new, state-of-the-art production facility with 4,000 m² of manufacturing space. This was complemented by an office building in contemporary architecture, providing modern, ergonomic workstations and creating optimal conditions for efficient processes. With this expansion, the company took a decisive step in growth and laid the foundation for further product developments and the acquisition of new customer segments.

1990-1999

Production Modernization

Ehrenfels modernized its sheet metal processing with a fully automated system and supplemented it in 1998 with a state-of-the-art press brake. In 1995, Ludwig Ehrenfels handed over management to his sons Dieter and Uwe Ehrenfels.

1980-1989

Sales Network and Customer Proximity

During this decade, the sales network was systematically expanded. New sales companies, showrooms, and collaboration with international partners – such as in Switzerland – enabled improved customer service and market penetration.

1970-1979

Technological Innovation

With the construction of a new assembly building and the introduction of the first NC machine for sheet metal processing, Ehrenfels set new standards in manufacturing. New door designs in metal sandwich construction and the revolutionary foaming process contributed to further improving product quality.

1950-1969

Expansion and Internationalization

In the 1950s and 1960s, production capacities were expanded and new factory halls were established. Ehrenfels began establishing initial contacts in the European market and developed innovative products such as freezer chests modeled on American designs.

1922-1949

Foundation and Specialization

In 1922, Bruno Ehrenfels founded the company as a carpentry workshop for kitchen, living, and bedroom furniture. In the following years, the company specialized in refrigerated display counters and cold room doors. Through continuous development, the company laid the foundation for its expertise in durable and high-quality solutions.
